A Video Update on NASA's Journey to Mars
Last September, NASA released an overview of their plans to put humans on Mars by the mid-2030's. They called it:
The idea is to 'step' up to this, the ultimate goal, by moving beyond LEO and the International Space Station into cislunar space, and eventually into deep space before heading on to Mars.
It's an ambitious plan that gets progressively more complex -- and more capable -- as each 'step' progresses.
This video clip summarizes the whole idea in a short 10-minute timeframe (including a stopover on Phobos you can see at the 7:20 mark).
Watch it now -- and don't forget to share it with your friends.
Enjoy!
